Marine Corps Rifleman's Creed
This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me my rifle is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than the enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will. My rifle and I know that what counts in war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, or the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit.

Hey, I actually agree with Jmick on something!

We wonder why they want us out of their country? Because of things like this.
Now, if it's on US soil, I could care less. If you live in the United States, learn to accept freedom of speech.

People can be rather stupid. It is too bad that they have to make a list of shirts people shouldn't wear but there are some real idiots out there. I know when I was in Japan there were some real intellegent people who wore some shirt praising the dropping of the A-bomb when they visited Nagasaki...

The problem is that those who are not the enemy are offended by the shirts.
Oreily brought up a good point yesterday regarding the term "patty wagons". He said that cop cars got the name patty wagon (after saint Patrick) years ago because they were used to to take the drunk irish people to jail. For some reason the Irish folks never got offended by this.

Plenty of Irish folks were offended by the NINA signs even if they didn't care about the 'patty wagons'. Just a thought...

How can you assume that? The fact that as an American I'm embarassed and ashamed our troops and commanding officers would wear shirts like that in no way means I don't support them. I think this boils down to a lack of common sense and a lack of empathy.

Yes, but we aren't at war with the general Iraqi's either. These shirts offend them. Do you think Iraqi soldiers would want to fight next to someone wearing a shirt that says this?

Do you think our soldiers care if they offend the average American Flag burning Iraq?.Or the Iraqi soldier that goes home at night and changes into his insurgent uniform? Its a war. This confirms the fact that political correctness is out of control.
