Big mistake for texas to fumble on their first possession. If USC goes down the field and makes them pay, they'll have a lot of momentum.

Young is amazing, but the Texas' kicker is horrible! How do you miss two feild goals especially in a championship game.

Yes, what a championship game should be.. Lived up to the hype and Vince Young showed what he is made of. One of the better performances from a COllege QB in abig game..
But to go for it on fourth down is football suicide if you do not make it. I guess ole Pete simply knew if he gave the ball back to TX he could not stop Vince...a one many wrecking crew tonight.
SOme questionable coaching calls on both sides. plus a poor decision by the Heisman Trophy winner to lateral.
What a game...regardless who you were pulling for.

Riot police are on stand by on the drag in Austin. We have not seen this in a long time!! The best game I have ever seen.
