I would suggest using 2 pieces of filter floss, not one, and putting them under the drip plate instead of on top for your Pro Clear.
With a 2nd piece of floss the bio balls stay cleaner and with the floss underneath the plate water drains more evenly.
I have had that wet/dry for 2 1/2 years and found this works better. Nitrates 0-2 always, bioballs clean(never had to rinse yet) and this is with a heavy bioload. I do rinse out the floss good with tap water from faucet 1 time a week and replace the top piece of floss(add new piece underneath the older piece) every 2 to 3 months.
Just thought this might help, and I would just add a 20lb bag of live sand from this site to the aragonite dry sand and you'll be good.
