Volt meter

hey everyone...I just had a power head short out or whatever and my water zapped me pretty good...is there a type of volt meter that u would recommend...are there any that u can just constantly leave in the tank? Is there a certain brand that u might recommend? Thanks in advance

It's best to install GFCI outlets to plug your equipment into. It's safer for yourself and for your livestock.

The GFCI will save your life in circumstances similar to yours. You got lucky.

You also need a grounding probe to send the power to ground in the case of a short circuit. The bad part is that if there's a short circuit the GFCI will shut down your tank. The good part is that it won't kill you.
