Looks good!

I really like your rock work.
Did you ever come to a solid id of those clowns? Are they allardi?
I have not come up with a definite answer but I am leaning towards Allardi's.I think ill have to wait till they get a bit more mature before i can truly determine what they are. Thank for the tip on the mag float...It is very convenient just having hang out in the corner. It serves as a reminder to keep my tank clean
....FYI I have been using a little plastic scraper in the corners, It's rounded on one of the sides

Thanks, This is my first clam, super excited... I've been doing lots of research on this guy. I think I picked a good specimen.

It looks really nice. I'm sure that it's more teal/gold if you look at it from the top down, yes?
We have plans on a shallow reef in the near future that will be a top down display mainly for clams since they just aren't the same when you look through the front glass.
It does look like a nice specimen. Just curious as to why you have it sitting up on the PVC light that? Have you not chose a location for it? These are rock boring clams and he's not going to be happy on the PVC for long, I wouldn't be surprised if he jumps off of it.

I decided to temporarily place him on the PVC.. until i get some aqua stick to move the frags that are in the spot I want the clam to go... i heard it is easier to move the clam from PVC then a rock. so he is sitting on the PVC till i get over to the LFS tomorrow.

Sounds good. Yes, it is easier to move from the PVC, because it usually will not attach to the PVC, just make sure that it can't get it's food planted to jump off. I've seen these guys jump off the PVC stands, get into the sand, and bore down and attach to the glass which can be a real PITA to get them unattached from.

The PVC piece is just wide/tall enough that i don't think he can jump.. His final placement will be where the Kenya tree is right now. The Kenya tree is going to be placed in the back right hand corner. it seems to grow an inch a day and its just getting to big for the spot its at right now.

what do you guys think about adding a 1 more fish.. do you guys think 4 fish would be to Meany for a 29g? i think I'm more worried about compatibility issues with the flame hawk fish then anything.. i don't even no what i would want...something colorful any suggestions?

i would say it would be fine to add a 4th fish as long as its something small and isnt territorial. eviota gobies come to mind for such tanks

We have a 6 line wrasse in our 29 gal cube. It's a perfect size, has a big personality, gets along great with our clown & has very vibrant colors.

Very nice! Take pics with that camera from now on! Haha
I think another fish would be fine, as long as it is small and peaceful. I do NOT recommend a six line wrasse as was mentioned above. They are small, but most are very aggressive and trying to catch them is darn near impossible once they become little monsters. The yellow assessor, a small flasher or fairy wrasse, or something similar would be a better option. Stay away from the "lined" wrasses, they tend to be the aggressive ones.
