I have info from several friends about how often, and how much water to change. I just wanted some feedback on how many gallons to change out and how often. thanks

I tried the weekly small WC's on my 3 Yo 75 gal reef and it had little effect. I went back to 20% every two weeks. On my 12 NC I change 2 gal a week religiously since it has no skimmer. On my 65 I have been changing water at least once a week as I am having algae issues with this tank. I think it all depends on the tank really.

I have gotten in the habit of doing 12.5% a week but I am about to go 20% every other week. I have noticed a difference in my corals since I started doing weekly water changes. I have finally been able to raise my calcium up to almost 400.

i have a 10g and change 2 gallons every week... I seems to be working very well.... I have heard that 10 gallons are hard to keep because they are so small but i h avent had any major out of whack situations yet

Freshwater for topoffs, salt water for changes.
