How Often Should You Do Water Changes? Now I Do Them Every Month Or So.

Should or actually get around to it?
It's a great way to replenish elements that get depleted that you realy can't account or test for. I do it 1 - 3 weeks depending on how busy I am. I have 2 tanks, so to do 2 water changes isn't so much time consuming... but getting enough RO/DI water ready is usually my downfall especially when I go through 3-4 gallons of topoff a day and to do water changes (5% on each) takes another 10 gallons so I have to prepare about 2 days out to have everything ready and enough water for topoff as well.

I use to do mine every week, now every two weeks and I see no difference.

I wouldnt go any longer than every other week, I started trying to go longer without changes and had a nitrate buildup that took many water changes to get back down to where I wanted it.
