Water Experts.. Salinity ..specific Gravity

Would one of the resident water experts please explain to me how to calculate salinity. I know salinity and specific gravity relate to each other and are temperature related but I dont know the conversion between the two. I currently use one of the plastic specific gravity boxes. I dont know what temperature it is calibrated at. It measures my specific gravity at 1.025 at 81 degrees. Thanks for the help.

Most swing-arm hydrometers are calibrated for 77 but will adjust for temp within reason.
Your Salinity is about 36ppt.
