Water Question

I had planned on doing a water change before I left town for work, but I didnt have time to do it. My question is: Will the water that I prepared before my trip be okay to use when I get home? It should still be circulating at about 80 degrees in a covered container unless someone decided to turn it off.

Good one Guy:hilarious I will be home this weekend. The water was prepared the evening of Mar. 25. I think I need to get some sleep, I'm usually a little better about giving the proper info. I'm just excited to get home soon to take care of my babies.

Thanks for the re-assureance. It'll be the longest I've let the water go, about 3 weeks. Okay, now that's been established I've got another question if anyones paying any attention after that first post. My dilema is that I have 3 new corals to place when I get home: toadstool, bubble and a small zoo rock. Should I acclimate them first (assuming params are okay, which I have never seen a problem except for the first few months) and then perform several small changes. The system has been up for over a year, so I believe it is stable enough for a small lapse in water change. Or should I try to to both at the same time, so that the corals get fresh and "old" water. I am going to use the drip method recommended by SWF. I've always had success with it, the corals seem to open very readily after placement. Any advice would be nice:yes:

Either way will work fine. Skipping a water change is rarely a problem, just so it doesn't become a habit.

Thanks. And I already have enough bad habits. I have a good excuse if you want to hear it:thinking: ... Anyway, Bang, if you're still out there got any advice on the bubble and leather or anyone else? I've done searches and got a lot info, but a little more wont hurt.

Any kind... general stuff like placement, feedin req. etc. Like I said, I've researched them on the board and think I've got a handle on it, but since you've been responding, thought I might pick your brain a little for your thoughts and experience, if any, with those particular corals. Thanks for bearing with me:D

The leather will enjoy Moderate light and moderate alternating current.
The Bubble will like the same but will do better under a bit more light than the Leather. Feed the Bubble Meaty foods a couple times a week. Scallop chunks, Mysis Shrimp, etc.

Thanks Bang, I'm in the process of acclimating right now and placement within the hour. While I was temp accl. all the corals started to open in the bag, so I must have packed them correctly for the trip from colorado to Va. I'll post progress reports tomorrow or later. Thanks for all the advice and insight.
