Subject says it all, ive got a 10 gallon small tank with a couple fish underneath my main tank.
The salt and levels are all acceptable.. partly because ive been doing a daily water change for the past few days.
One day the tank got cloudy and has not gone back. Andy suggestions?
Attached is a picture of the tank and a bucket of water that i pulled out.

Looks like an algea bloom. Answer: Protein skimmer
Is that the proactive effort to stop it from happening, or reactive to take it away?
And it's only a 10 gallon, is there some skimmer that i could make work in my stand?

That's a Diatom bloom IMO. I don't think you'll be able to filter it out.
Does the water your using have a high concentration of Silicate? IMO that's probably the problem. Your RO membrane may be damaged or your DI cartridge needs to be replaced.
It could also be the substrate. What kind of sand did you use?

I have also have a 10g tank, I have 20 lbs live rock and live sand, marineland 150 filter. I use store bought RO water and pre-made saltwater at SG of 1.023. It is crystal clear, maybe you can be more specific about equipment used.

you can't tell by that picture. what are you talking about?

Well don't know about all of you but I started the fish hobby with a goldfish. My fisrt goldfish was in a 1 gallon tank, after a couple of days the water looked like that (all cloudy, can't see through). Later I realize I had to change the water, since there was no filtration for it. It was just a sarcastic comment with regards to the picture. Did not mean anything by it nor implied that he does not have adequate filtration for his tank.
