We need to learn from FRANCE

If france can tighten immigration laws why can't we. France has passed or will have passed the following immigration requirements for all wanting legal status in their country.
1. Speak French. (The jerks! How dare they request that someone learn the language most prominent in their country?)
2. Children must behave and be law abiding (Never thought this needed to be asked of)
3. The bread winner in the family must make at least 1600 Euros a month. (imagine that? Asking them to make an honest living?)
4. Submit to an extensive background check. (How dare the violate their privacy?)
5. All "claimed" relatives will submit to DNA testing to prove they are family.

how is that Socialist??? demanding that they pay their own bills instead of letting them take advantage of government programs and sit on their arses while our hard earned tax dollars go to a newbie that is only here to get a free ride...

Realistically, if you've never heard of the nfl, San Diego Chargers, or any other sports team then you are probably too sheltered to ever worry about having $ex. You don't need to worry about a concept like abortion.

What do they do, send them to jail if they don't make $1600 euro's a month? NO...They GIVE them a job where they do make $1600 euro's a month. Thats very Socialistic.

What? forcing someone to hold a job is socialist? If you do the math, this is equivalent to a 10 dollar an hour job....This is also bread winner/ total family income. so the man and the woman could have a job and make 900 euros a month and be ok...Which is basically their minimum wage...
Basically they are saying you must have gainful employment.
