Weeds and algae help

Noticed i have a few weeds growing within new corals i bought about 1 and a half month ago and notice the sand bed is starting to grow algae, covering it... Any ideas will surely help. Thanks.

I used to have algae problems back when I used tap water for my tanks or if I ever allowed my parameters to get too far out of line. High nitrates etc. Are you using RO water? Are your water parameters good? Do you have a clean up crew? Hermits, snails, etc? What color is the algae growing on the sand bed? Green, red, brown?

I'm using ro water. Weekly water changes. Just purchased a few hermit crab and snails. They seem to be doing their job. Thanks a lot guys
