I don't know what was more painful: watching the Pack lose that way or having to listen to Troy Aikman the entire game. The guy doesn't shut up and assumes nobody watching knows anything about football----and like most Cowboys, has an inherent dis-like for The Pack, goes way back to the Ice bowl, I guess. Yeah favre can only beat the Pack twice this year. I expect the Cards to beat the Aint's---New Orleans is way past "peak". Favre won't lose at home to South America's team. Minn. & SD in the Super Bowl, which is a game I've come to really dislike; too much hype and no-nothing celebrity babble. The Conference Championship games are just as exciting to me. The SB is a good excuse for a party, though; but so is any day I'm still this brilliant about football at my age.
BTW, Kirk---Manning did win his 4th MVP a few days ago.
I too am getting over the stuff they do at the big games. The "chickafication" of sports is ruining it. You want a half time show, let the cheerleaders come out and shake what they got for 5 minutes and run more commercials, they are more entertaining than the halftime shows.

Don't all announcers assume you know nothing? Personally that is why I like John Gruden. I've long been a proponent of doing what Fox does when they cover racing. Get a few guys that absolutely eat breath and poop the sport. And just let em talk about what they think is interesting.
What they need is a few Terry Bradshaw's covering their games. Personally, (and I like Troy Aikman) but Troy covers football like he plays efficient and uninteresting but gets the job done.

Then you'd LOVE going to the Cowboy's Stadium... a 60 foot wide scoreboard full of cheerleaders every quarter...

I'm not saying he's a loser, he just has more success in the regular season than the playoffs. I do think alot of it has to do with Pitt and New England being contemporaries. But personally I would have thought it would have translated into at least as many superbowls as (any I'm soo going to try and spell this without googling it) Rothlesburger.
I was just picking on the spelling because you and T always correct us when we say "Cowgirls"...Bahaha

After seeing Derrel Revis (sp?) and Woodson this weekend, I like Revis better. He completely shut down 85, Woodson played decent, and you can argue Fitz had a pushoff on one touchdown, and he did have that strip, but Woodson was outplayed by Fitzgerald. Don't get me wrong Fitzgerald is a far superior WR to 85, but the Defensive MVP should be a "game changer" in the biggest game of the year, Revis was, Woodson really wasn't.

When Boldin bolts next year, the Cardinals will be in good shape still at WR, Doucett is quite good, and Brestin top shelf....Cardinals I believe are 6-1 without Boldin the last 2 years.

I can sniff the skins making a pick up. The skins have the 4th pick overall. Your boys at Scouts Inc say they will pick up Bradford

Well, I just found out that I have to take about 35 scouts up to WV snow skiing this Sat. - Mon., and staying in a military armory which I have no idea if they even have a TV or radio

I guess I'll make my pics here soon and hope for the best. Personally, I would just about rather see the games this weekend than the Superbowl itself

The Cards could start 11 random college players and still win the NFC West. With the Rams, Seahawks, and 49ers; its like starting the season 6-0.
EDIT: As predicted, The Pack's Woodson was just named the Defensive Player of the Year. I would brag about calling this---but it was a no-brainer.

Interesting statement considering Minnesota and Green Bay barely squeeked out wins over San Francisco at home, did they play College players that game? The entire NFC North combined doesn't have as many Super Bowl wins as San Fran.
Green Bay="TitleTown",
, that's even a worse self proclamation than "America's Team".

Congrats, he probably can't sleep though...He is having nightmares/flashbacks of Larry Fitzgerald abusing him.

C'mon, the guy is a true defensive leader, that last TD had nothing to do with the defense...Green Bay's D really only gave up 45 points, that's not that bad.

Less than that, I mean they did score 21 points on turnovers.
