Since this is kind of a College thread too, anybody watch the Quack Attack last night? Holy crap is that offense ever good!! UCLA had no chance of stopping them. I don't know if the Ducks are the best team in the country (though I suspect they are), but I know they are the most fun to watch.
Yeah the Ducks are rated number one and my Beavs lost to the Huskies, it has been a great week for the Beaver Nation. LOL
Have you happened to notice all the helmets that are coming off this year? My wife said it is because of a different design, but I am suprised weeks into the season the problem is still happening. Used to be a helmet coming off was something you only saw once or twice a season, not once of twice a half.

The SC Oregon game should be entertaining if you like offense. Should be over 100 scored in that game.

Beaver Husky game was certainly highly entertaining, just happy the Dogs came out on top, as we have struggled with the Beav lately.
I have also noticed a ridiculous amount of helmets on the turf this year. Must be something goofy with the straps. I don't even know whom makes a majority of helmets these days...Under Armour? Russell?

USC seems to really struggle with mobile QB's, so there will be a lot of pressure on Barkley and the offense to score about every time they get the ball...They may be up to it though.

I'd be amazed if Oregon isn't number 1 now but you never know. They have huge margins of victories against their scrub opponents and really only didn't look impressive against Az State. I don't see how the BCS can possibly screw them with their remaining schedule but you never know, they had Oki 1 when they were 3 and 4 in the human polls when Oregon was number 1 in them.
Another issue the BCS needs to think about is USC. Not sure it would be an issue with them at 5 and 2 right now but the BCS isn't ranking USC this year or next. That punishes other Pac 10 teams in the computer rankings for strength of schedule. I think they need to rethink that part of the penalty.

Everyone uses Riddell helmets, in the NFL and the FBS (down to pop warner). I think the issue is two fold. They have newer helmets, I think they rolled out a year or two ago aimed at reducing concussions. Perhaps there is an equipment issue, the problem is the chinstrap keeps popping, so maybe the clips aren't as strong as they should be. The other, larger IMO is more and more players wearing looser and looser helmets, for comfort, and so they just rip 'em on and off
. Also I really think it has something to do with hair. A lot more players have longer hair styles, which makes them wear a larger, looser helmet, that comes off easier. Next time you see a helmet rolling around, notice whose helmet it is.

I don't know that I remember seeing a helmet pop off of one of the guys sportin the doo. If that was an issue that guy on the steelers couldn't keep a helmet on LOL!

It is the Chin Straps that are not doing the JOB. When I played you had to UNDo both snaps on one side to remove your helment. Now you just unsnap one on each side and remove the helment. The Strap goes across your face and and up goes the Helment. Next thing you know you lost your Bucket.
