Weld-on

I am trying to build a plexiglass sump and I need some Weld-on to join the pieces. Mail order wants to tack on a HAZMAT fee. Anyone know a local retail place in the NJ/PA area? Or possibly another product that works as good as Weld-on.
Thanks.

Have you tried Tap Plastics?
The last time I ordered from them I don't think I was charged a fee... I only remember because a couple other places wanted to charge one.
It was a while ago though, so maybe they have changed their policies.

Bought it at Home Depot. It is in the door section, but if you blink too fast you would walk right past it.

I used a table saw and a plywood blade (180 tooth). Using the table saw fence, all the cuts were smooth and even. Leave the plastic covering on the plexiglass while cutting. It will reduce the chance of scratching the surface. And open some windows or do it outside. Cutting the plexi creates a slight odor.

You about need to have a table saw to cut acrylic really well. NJBeacher's blade is probably pretty close to mine as well. I use a 10" Freud 80 tooth laminate blade. Laminate (Formica) is similar in material performance to acrylic, so a blade for laminate will do well.
Unfortunately it's not easy to cut without a table saw, because your edges have to be SO straight for it to bond well.
To drill small holes, a drill press helps, but is not necessary. They make special bits that are designed to drill acrylic, you can get them from US Plastics, Tap Plastics, etc. They are expensive... but I will admit i've never used them. What I do is start with a small bit and work my way up to the desired hole size, increasing by no more than 2 drill bit sizes at once.
Run the drill at VERY high speed, use water to lubricate the hole if you get meltage, and drill through with as little pressure as possible to keep the bit "biting."

I know a seller on the _bay that sells Weldon 3 and 4 and 16 the applicator and acrylic. He is really cheap even with shipping. I jus bought a 48"L x12" H 3/8 thick cost $49.00 with shipping.
Acrylic fabricator by me wanted 125.00 bucks for the same size sheet. Also the seller will cut the sheet to size with no additional charge.
