finally painted the room a nice shade of pink and picked out a butterfly border that wifey wants me to put in the middle of the wall instead of the ceiling. now i gotta go get a lazer level and figure out how to do borders...
we ordered our changing table and crib, and finished the baby shower registry. surprisingly, people have already started buying off the darn thing and the baby shower isn't until december. unreal!!
i'll have pics of the room once i'm done. my computer is in pieces at home right now (hard drive dying, so wifey decided to steal my power supply)

what a blessing, Congrats to you and your wife, but get ready for the best part in life, your own kids, they bring tons of joy, happiness, and love. The worst part, is getting ready for your wife to slave you
cause you gotta do it, and after the baby, the craziness is normal from wiffy, don't take nothing personal , its the hormones, just be carefull

I'm happy for you, god bless.

congrats, man.
We are about 3 weeks from our due date with our 3rd child.
6 year old boy & 2-1/2 year old girl, and a girl on the way....
I love my son with all my heart... but there was just something that changed when my little girl was born.....
Good thing my lap's big enough for 2....

going to be putting a border around the middle of the room to break it up a little :)
i'm debating on buying a little girl light fixture, wondering if it's worth the $30

aww what a sweet pink room...oh and yes the light fixture is worth the 30 bucks because she will probably not want to change anything till she is at least 3 year old and 10 bucks a year is worth it
you have never felt a love like you will feel when you look into her little eyes for the first time congrats again

you know what jenny? we haven't even seen our daughter (other than the ultrasounds) but we already love her. she's impacted our lives that much already and we cannot wait to see her :)

honestly, it is getting harder and harder to wait. we definitely want her to go full term, but goodness, that's 4 months still. we just sit there feeling her pushing and bumping my wife's belly and it's amazing.

Aww I love the room so far!!! U must have very good taste to have picked out the same crib I have!!

And if you think she has changed ur lives already, just wait until the first time you look into her eyes, it will be a moment you remember for the rest of ur life. I just got chills as I typed this b/c the birth of your first child is amazing to say the least. The overwhelming love and emotion has never left me and I see the joy and amazment every single time I look at one of my kids.
Are u guys in the 3rd trimester yet???

Almost though!!!!

So honestly, how excited are you? Kinda makes ya wanna jusmp outa ur skin huh? I loved my pregnancies, so amazing!!!!

not yet, that will be a tightly kept secret until the birth hopefully. people always say something about names and we dont want to deal with it LOL

We only told family until his birth! Good idea IMO
And who care the opinions of others, she and her name are very special regardless of what they think....sorry if I said too much its just how I feel. Children are amazing!!!!

it's more like the "oh i knew a soandso" or stuff like that. people say a lot of stupid things to parents-to-be.
i absolutely LOVE the horror stories about when they or someone they know had a hard birth. that's REALLY productive!!! i mean, why would someone really think those stories are going to help ease the mind of a parent-to-be, especially on that person's first born...(note the sarcasm...)
