My tank is now 3 months old and I am finally satisfied enough to post some pics. You can't tell from the pics here, but the large rock on top is a canopy. Underneath is a big open cave. I'm planning a light upgrade this weekend, just adding a 50/50 bulb bringing up the stock 72 Watts to 108 Watts. And adding better moonlights. Here goes.

Very Nice, What is that yellow thing in the back second to last photo
Thanks. If I remember correctly, it's a yellow flowerpot coral.

I'll give it a shot and see. From all the pictures I can find online, it doesn't look like this species extends quite as long as the other one in my tank.

That's right. I was looking for a way to raise the coral a bit. Didn't like the other rocks I was finding so I just got a few of these and layered them on top each other.

It looks real nice. How long have you had the Goniapora?
Yup, it is. I'm reading up that they are a very tough coral to keep so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
One of my Ballast went out yesterday, hopefully they can survive on lower light for a couple days until I get a replacement.

Wow, 3 months old... Very beautiful... I just posted my pic's of my tank last week and I am over 14 months old.
I can see you upgrading... Sorry for planting this in your ole brain, but most likely you are already looking at that, especially if you are hooked like most of us. I started with a 28G JBJ, but soon after added a 300G DT/Refuge, then got rid of the JBJ
Keep up the great work, your tank is beautiful and it looks like you are learning much.
