The blood test results just came back and I am officially 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. My son just turned 2 in May. I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. 2 little ones are going to be alot to handle! I'm already having trouble keeping up with my 2 year old when I feel all the time! Guys, you don't know how good you have it.

congrats. I was sick with my first and sicker with my second. Being sick with no kids to care for was easier than trying to keep up with a toddler running around and not feeling well.
Mine are about 3 years apart. Pretty good timing. By that age, the first one is eager to help especially if she is a girl.
congrats again!!

Hey Congrats!!!!!! Ours are 19 months apart so you should have no worries.

Another little flute player is about to enter the world.

I have not been on much lately, how did your eyes turn out?

My eyes turned out okay. I still have problems with the left eye at night, but it is slowly getting better. The doctor said I needed to give it time to heal.
19 months apart, wow!

Congratulations! My wife is now 11 weeks pregnant with our first. We get our first sonogram next week!

Are they doing the new "all in one" test with the sonogram? The doctor told me they have a new test that they can do at 12 weeks that tests for several genetic conditions. He said it has a 92% accuracy. Sounded pretty cool to me. Get all of that testing nonsense out of the way so you can enjoy the pregnancy.
Congratulations!

Congrats for a safe, pleasant pregnancy... This Miami Heat weather and humidity makes us southern folk very randy! haha

Thanks! I honestly have no idea what exactly they are testing for. I know my wife has to get some genetic testing done because my sister is a carrier for something called Neiman-Pick, which is a genetic disease that is carried by Jewish people almost exclusively. My wife has to get tested and as long as she is clear, which she should be since she isnt Jewish, then we have nothing to worry about. On the off chance that she is a carrier then I have to get tested as well.

So is it going to be nina, noah, and nathanial? Or nina, noah, and Natalie?
that is funny. I don't think we will do the N thing again. It actually turned out to be a coincidence the first time. We decided on Noah and then laughed when we realized we had Nina and Noah. I don't even think about names until I know if it is a boy or a girl. I have my work cut out for me because it has to sound good in both English and Spanish. That is harder than you would think!

Well I hear you I am going to be having my 3rd and last in late September or early October. Found out that we are having a BOY.
I will get to have a son of my own. I will end up with my stepson my daughter who is 2 now and my son. Names of the kids are Victor Caroline and the little one is going to be Richard. We are excited as can be about the boy and the family LUCK HELD only one girl per son.
