I truely wish all of the mma experts on the internet would actually train and step into the ring or cage...passing judgement after watching things on TV is really easy. I'm not saying I am an mma expert, but I do train, have fought quite a bit, and have fought one of my idols in Dan Henderson, granted I was choked to unconciousness by him) so i'm not some idiot off the street...so ease up on the comments until you have walked in their shoes...

who recently knocked how huston???
and i believe he was knocked out
But who do you think is the worst ref??
my vote steve mazagatti
that brock fight was a joke..he hit him in the back of the head onece maybe twice by complete accident..and he stands him up and takes pt..if he wasnt stood up he wudve caved mir's face in..
Houston is a joke he put on a good show, but he is way to old to be a newcomer to the sport. Being a ref is harder then fighting, at home you have slo mo, instant replay, etc...Live you have one chance to get it right...the standup of lesner/mir was a good call, fighter safety is the most important thing....either way mir would have submited lesner, i mean come on a poor attempt at a knee bar and lesner was tapping, anyone with 4 months of BJJ would have escaped that.

Honestly I will hold judgment on wandy until after this fight . Chuck was hungry and he knew it was do or die time to get back on the horse and Wandy is just getting his ufc legs . Vale tudo and pride are less rules than the UFC and its going to take it out of you mentally at first to have to remember and keep it in the front of your mind all the extra rules your not used to fighting with . The fact that he is fighting jerdine just shows that he is still in the top of the hunt . Honestly I feel that jerdine should have faced rampage before forest . But that's just me .
Actually the ufc has the same rules the only difference in Pride, all elbows to the head are disallowed. But in the UFC elbows ARE allowed to the head. But, in Pride, whilst elbows are disallowed to the head, you can make "4-point attacks" (including soccer kicks & foot stomps to the head)
its really nothing that you would need to think about.

Mazagati is a joke.
Jerdine has just been more impresive IMO. Forests claim to fame? ? ? He went to a decision with tito a win over bonner and his submision of shogun. Jerdine took liddell the distance out striking him and he destroyed Forest via ktFo, he did have a bad fight against houston but houston was on fire. His loss @ fight night was a bad early stop IMO mazagati strikes again!
He only EMBARRASED shogun, everyones #1 P4P fighter...and unless you are a striker you're gonna have a HUGE problem with tito, watch as he handles Machida and gives him his first loss. As for Forrest getting knocked out, i promise you that on any given day there will be things like that happen. I trained with Horn @ Militich for 2 days and never got submited, but I got submited by a no name white belt, while i am a brown under carlson gracie...things happen, no excues, he was the better man that day.

jardine and liddell was lackluster...they were both hesitant with their punches. i actually yawned during that fight. last time i did that was arlovski's fight. they were both afraid to get knocked out. liddells confidence was gone in that fight. beating liddell by decision helped jardine up the latter but yes getting ko'd by houston in his 1st fight in the UFC does drop him down some pegs.
Its gonna happen Liddell is awkward counter puncher, he used weird angles, its almost impossible to find someone to spar with like him....so Jardine didn't want to commit to anything so liddell couldn't counter, the only thing he could do was leg kick, which chuck didn't even check.
