That shark is too big for your tank! Why is he in freshwater?? They need a minimum of 20,000 gallons and they need to be in saltwater! Sorry. lol. I just couldn't resist. Nice tank BTW.

Alot of sharks can handle fresh water. Some will swim quite a ways up a tribuary and eat little kids swimming.

Nice tanks! stdreb27, What kind of fish is down to the right of the danio? Is it some kind of tetra? And I like the last picture with the pleco on the shark, it reminds me of a remora and a shark!

Mess88, nice cichlid tank! It looks like you have live plants in there, what kind of lighting do you have? On my 40g the lighting is so pathetic ( 20w flourescent) that I can't even keep plants alive (I know, its sad). So I have a nice "garden" of realistic plastic plants, and it doesn't look to bad!

Some hybrid from the ag department at the college. They told me, but I don't remember what they said.

thanks all. My live plants are all gone now. They use to just eat the algae off the plant .Than a couple of mouths ago they starts eatting the plants (had plant for over 4 years).the tank is in direct sun light thats why my plants grow so good. (plus warm water makes the fish breed like rabbits) I believe there are over 40 fish in the tank maybe even 50. and yes it's fresh water, seem everyone who come over ask if it salt water. I plan on pulling 15 or so fish and going to try plants again.

I like your tank. It has a nice natural look to it. A peice of driftwood in the middle and it would be perfect!
