When putting phyto plankton in i can just squirt it in the tank right>? or does it have to be directly on the corals? just wondering thanks for any info

its better just to squirt it into the tank by like a power head so the current carries it all around the tank

Yes. Squirt it into some current. Some corals will benefit directly by squirting some phyto onto them with a baster.

I mix DT's Phyto with a little tank water and the days menu...then pour it into a direct current either from a powerhead or one of the sump returns. My hope is that it gets evenly dispersed in the system.

I don't know of any corals that can consume Phyto directly. Goniopora might but that's not for sure. Squirting it at them directly will probably just irritate them.

ok thanks. i have been just putitng it in from the front of the tank but i gueess i put it in tthe back by one of my rios thanks
