Thanks for the words. My wife and I used an ovulation test and it worked the first month we used it.

Will you be calling her Brooklyn, or Brook, or will you use her middle name (Emma happens to be my favorite name in the entire universe...soooo elegant) ?

Thanks... Brook/Brooklyn I'm not sure. That pic was after her first bath (actually sponge bath). :joy:

omg! She's so beautiful!!! Most babies are really ugly when they come out, but she is absolutely georgeous!

LOL...1000 pics is a LOT. If I were Brook (thats her name right?) I would not be comfortable, considering you are sitting up (most likely) because you are at the computer. Well, I guess it would be comfortable, because you're holding her...but anyway, I am confusing myself!

Well, to be honest, this is a life more important than my own. I love being a dad. But if I wasn't ready, it would be very hard... I feel bad for young parents who aren't ready.

Ready physically and emotionally. Most people care not as financially well-off as they'd like, but the baby doesn't care. But it's hard to be a parent if friends, bars, socializing, partying are still a priority. My family takes all my energy but I want to give it to her. I think that to be a good parent, you have to be able to put everything else second.
