What Angel Is This???

i recently bought a angelfish.
and the lfs said it was a koran.
its dark blue with the white and light blue stripes down it, BUT it has a yellow tail and slightly going yellow on top,
i noticed juvi korans are coloured throughout and their tails deffinately arnt yellow,
so i was thinking maybe annularis? cos there tails are clear, could be a possibility.
or maybe a majestic? because it could be changeing, i mean the yellow top and tail, the majestic is yellow in those places?
sorry i dont have a pic atm, i've lost the cable to connect up my camera, as soon as i find it i'llpost some pics:)

either way i only paid about $40 for it so im chuffed lol:)
its only in a 23g atm, (i know, VERY small tank for an angel) but in a couple of months im going for a 70g or so:)
its only small, and i mean 1" mabe 1.5"
is a lovely fish, acclimitised well, took couple of hours and is now swimming around like it owns the place.
on other thingss, watever it is, do you think its changeing?
with the yellow on the top of it and the yellow tail?

WOOOO i found the plug in for my camera(phone)
i dont think its a blueface because they dont have white stripes, only blue, where this one does have white stripes, but the majestic one also has no white, and is wayy to dark to be this one, sooo im thinking strongly towards annularis, and just guess the yellow will turn orangey over time?

yehh im really thinking annularis, and im kinda hoping it is one too:)

yehh it does abit, but notice how in the blueface, there are no white stripes, and in mine there are 3 stripes wich dont seem to be random ones from just a freak angel lolss.
i'll clean the glass and try take some clearer pics:)

yehh ok, i'll feed it quite often, shall i mix it up?
i used to have a fowlr and had like triggers and lionfish and stuff so i've got tons of cockles for food, shall i cut them up and feed that say twice a day for a week, and flakes once a day for a week, then flakes twice a day and cockles once a day, so on. so its abit more variety.
and i went back to the fish shop that i bought it and asked. and the guy said it deffinately a koran, just sometimes they may go a different colour before going to its normal self. so the yellow will eventually go grey and blue?

It's not a blueface or a koran, I've seen them before. I'll do a little more research on my lunch break and hopefully have an answer for you....

It's a blue face that's changing. SWF doesn't have the greatest picture, that's what through me off.
Here's my thought, you have a small tank, if this guy is already changing, you need to upgrade and you need to do it fast. They grow quickly. It doesn't matter how much rock work you have in your tank for the fish to swim, it's still not enough room in the open water area. Larger angels really need a 6ft long tank. You're going to need to upgrade to at least a 125G. These fish get very large and get very aggressive in small tanks. It doesn't matter if you're only keeping a few fish, or a lot, they still need the room.

thats kinda a relief, i woulda likedit to be a annularis or something cos there wicked lol, but so are the blueface:)
but does mean i got a great deal, around here a juvi blueface is about £90
about $120, and yehh the korans i reallydont think are that much, and for about $40 thats a good price yeah?
yehh i spoke to the parents today, i toldmy mum i want a new tank, and she said ok:)
(im only18 thats why i live with my mum lol)
soo yeh im going to get ATLEAST a 100g,
soo yehh:)

It looks small. The longer the tank the better. This fish needs a cave. They are reclusive. Not very out going. get better over time though

I didn't even realize that was a site that sold fish %% Just thought that it was a really good reference guide. OOPS!
Normally if I do post a site that sells fish, I specifically say not to buy fish there just use it as reference, like the "doctors" website. But thanks for the heads up.

It's an Arabian Angel, aka Asfur Angel, Pomacanthus Asfur. (juvi of course)
An absolute steal at $40. They hale from the Red Sea, and typically retail for north of $80.

yehh that does look alot like it:)
yeh i know, my rockwork atm is really good with ALOT of caves and groves, it loves the rockwork,
yehh the tank is going to be about 23" high when i get, then water other sizes i need to get it at around 125g, im gettin custom made. the guy recommended me at the most going at 23", because as soon as you go over 23" the glass has to get thicker, therefore ALOT more expensive so yehh:)
