What are these two things and are they good or bad?

This is my first post but i have been reading these fourms for about 3 months but i finally have a question for you guys and gals!! first pic isnt really clear but its red and has bubbles and little hairs in spots......Thanks

LOL...last night I injected a small amount of lemon juice directly into the aptasias mouht....I have not seen it since
I have also heard boiling water works (didn't for me though)

for the Aptasia, homegrown boilin water or lemon juice, right into the maouth
Store bought I like Aptasia X, whatever is in the stuff the aptasia will actually grab and hold the syringe so you can cover the oral disc and then the things just kind blow up.
Whichever you way get it out before it spreads and is a real PITA to deal with

ok what about the red hair looking thing growing on the LR? i googled but couldnt really find if it was good or bad n how to do away with if it if needed

You can try siphoning it out. There are other ways as well, but this is a good starting point. How old is this tank? Do you have any clean up crew?

The tank is about 5months old and there is about 4in on one rock in the tank

How long are your lights on? on a timer 8 hours 30mins
How often do you do water changes? every 3 weeks
The flow is straight towards it but its bouncing off the glass down to it.....that make since??
