What are these?

In one of my tanks (my smallest-thankfully) I have these little critters (less than 1 cm in length) crawling on the walls of the aquarium. They are transparent, have about 6 legs on both sides of their body and have two longer appendixes that appear to be antennas (kind of a generic description, I know, but the closest thing I can compare them to are lice). They've multiplied rapidly and seem to interact with each other the same way ants do. They have not attacked any of the aquarium inhabitants. Of course, I can't get a good picture of them (they are moving way too fast!!) Any help identifying these critters is much appreciated.
