what brand of salt is everyone using?

i have been using coralife salt, but i am setting up my 150 gal tank so i decided to try out oceanic with it.

My water did turn Yellowish and murky.
But I collected water from the ocean also for my friend and his tank is doing great and the fish are too.
My fish are still alive.
It could've been the Sea Hare.
But I collected my water at a bad spot, it was more than obvious, I will return to where I got his water, don't own a boat.
Or can you guys help me out with the most CONVINIENT SALT WATER SOLUTION.
Its for a 20 gal. Im sure its cheap, I got money.
And how often would I have to add some of it.
My other friend uses Instant Ocean I think.
And tell me how long would you think this product will last.

You did not cause any problems at all, no worries! I would use one of the available mixes to make my salt-water if I was you.Most people use Instant-Ocean,I recently switched over to the Oceanic salt as the calcium and ph and the alk are almost the same as I keep my tank where as Instant-Ocean is lacking in all of these important qualities also Oceanic salt mixes easier faster and leaves no residue as IO does.Good luck with whatever method you choose!

I use Oceanic Sea Salt it desoves fast and i have cristal clear water also because i get 15% off at work. I used to buy premixed water from my LFS by the gal but then I decided to buy a 50gal plastic tank to mix my water heres a pic of my mixing tank
