I have two actinics. Honestly I don't feel like looking right now, I will tomorrow. It's a Current fixture though.

I think you should just get a housebulb or something and hook that up to your tank and you will be fine, no need to spend all that money on those fancy lights. just pick out the corals you like and put it in. maybe get a couple clams, those are always nice.

Do I put the bulbs directly into the tank?
your best bet would be to clip them on the side of the tank, BUT if you put them IN the tank you might get a nice fish sandwhich if your into that.

Fish sandwich? That's a term that I am not familiar with. Is that a good thing? Okay, so I just trashed my current fixture (yes pun intended) and threw a few houshold lamps in there. I plugged it in and I guess the light was so bright that fish got scared and decided to lie in the sand for a while. I stuck my hand in the tank and something bit me. I think I have a clear mantis shrimp that was aggrivated by the new lighting. What should I do. My fish seem fine, they just need to lie and sleep a little while.

I think you should get up on a ladder, stick your but in your tank, and fart. wake those fish up!

That's a good sign man! The clear mantis shrimp bit you because it got a little scared because it loves the new light!

He might not calm down, you might need to take some action. do you have a BB gun or somethin? I would stand high on the ladder and aim down, shoot him if you see it!

Well I don't have a bb gun. I have a shot gun. I'm trying that now!...
Shattered pieces of glass all over the ground. My fish are lying there so I farted on them. Then I realized they were out of water so I started spitting on them.
Thanks for the advice! Now I am free and clear of my saltwater problems.
By the way when I sat down I got a few shards of glass up my cornhole, is that bad? Fish can live outside of water right?

Trigger...okay!
No I used pool water. Is that bad?
Pool water is actually pretty good. You should add a queen angelfish. I hear that they pair up with clear mantis shrimp and are amazing to look at.
