Maybe they have a web site wih all the different sizes.
I looked it up...G6 is for 160g and G3 for up to 80g...205 up to 40g...305 up to 70g ....405 up to 100g...105 or up to 25g and even a U3 for 40g and U2 for 30g so lots of fluvals to choose from.

Just get the FX5, honestly. If you ever upgrade, etc you won't have to upgrade your pump/canister. It will add extra filtration and flow to your tank. This way, if you want a heavily stocked tank, you can. Honestly, I believe it really is your best option and I've only had mine running for 4-5 days.

I was always a fan of bigger is better too when it comes to canister filters. It's just my way but I think 2 smaller ones will do better than one huge one. I do like that brand the best and I have had canister filters for 30+ years, boy oh boy the older ones were a total pain to clean.

Well they already have the one, so this bigger one would be a big help. If they upgrade, the big one will do more work, but they'll still have the little one as the helper. If that makes sense
I'm running on empty today

LOL...You make total sense..I had a Cascade for up to 100g when I had the 55g and when I added the fluval to it I added the 305. Now I have a 90g tank and was able to keep the same canisters.

Best gadget they ever come up with. I use a spray bar vertically so I have flow behind my rocks in the back.

LOL...I should have mentioned....DON'T EVER GET A MAGNUM 350....LOL...It is a PITA to clean. I only keep it cause it is for flow only, and therefore I rarely take it apart...otherwise it would be in the trash

I have a Filstar XP3 and love it. Easy to clean and it keeps my tank right now crystal clear. So is Fluval the best on the market?

I've got the Marineland c-530 canister filter in my 90 gallon. It's rated for up to 150 gallons. It's working great and it's quiet.
