What Chemicals/Filter Media do you think is Imperative?

I like at least 1/2" of sand and no mechanical filtration other than a massively oversized skimmer.
I'm building a Turf Scrubber to see how I like it, I'll get back to you on it.
For me, I like as little hands-on maintenance as possible. Cleaning or replacing filter media doesn't work for me.

Bang I remember we had some discussion on turf scrubber filtration glade to see you did not abandon the idea any thought about posting a chronicle on your project?

Dido on that, I would like to see how efficiently it works.. given the same amount of bioload and foodstuffs..
Unless the idea is to increase bioload/feeding portions or to reduce accumulated compounds..
