Aptasia, make it go away, boiling water for home remedy or aptasia x for the store bought. SOme livestock will help control them, peppermint shrimp.

True aiptasia eating peppermint shrimp are hard to find now, so don't get ripped off!

I can only tell by the perpendicular stripes. The true has those, and in real life the trues are very vivid in color. You can see the stripes clearly from 4 feet away. The false's look pinkish. And their stripes don't stand out as much.

Oh I am very serious, and what's sad is that LFS will sell fakes as reals. But in their defense, most times, they don't even know there is a diff.

. I was tired last night. Well now that I know the dif I think I might try one to rid mine. I have been waiting for over a month now for a berghi nudi. I am tired of waiting. I have done the manual thing but there is no way I can get them without taking my tank apart.

Get on top of those things now. each time they get scard they will retract and when they do they release more spores to boost thier population. On top of jut doing it to increase thier population.

I will let you know. I am going to check it out sometime this weekend. Do you need one? I didn't really want one but it doesn't look like I have too much choice right now. I have to get them on the decline.
