Ya gotta start somewhere...

panacur....you really need this...panacur is a treatment that will help rid of things like hydroids
live rock and live sand and other live stuff really cant be put in the tank unless treated with it....you run the risk of introducing many things that would kill them, like bristle worms, hydroids, aipstasia

I know my LR doesnt have aptasia and bristle worms... maybe 1 pound of the little peices I have?
What other rock then?

which hatching kit are you looking at? the one i developed that rykna uses looks intimidating but it is SO easy, especially once you get it down and timed...and usually a bit less expensive than the nice hatcheries you can find...you want to stay away from things like the little black box hatchery you can get at walmart...it works, but that hatch rate is terrible....as for the bbs eggs...its easiest to get decapped...it lets you skip a step for hatching the little eggs...if you get just normal eggs you'll have to bleach them and decap the eggs yourself. I've never tried it, but no picnic in my opinion.

you are 100% positive it has nothing? if you want the natural look, kill the rock first, make it completely dead...and put it in that way....if you overlook something and add say a tiny aipstasia you cant see you'll be in quite the mess later down the road...most people use fake freshwater plants etc for decor...but i know thats not as nice...i used dead rock myself

Kill the rock... I could do that
How?

But, I am 100000000000 percent sure that the smaller peices (1-3 in) dont have worms or aptasia...

as for the eggs, be careful...make sure they are decapped...the shells etc will make the tank water terrible and parameters off...also those in tank hatcheries are bad..they put junk in the tank that will also make the tank way offbalance

Looks for eggs that give you a hatch rate...at places like seahorse source .org there are quite a few decapped bottles there with high hatch rates and they have some great hatcheries if you don't want to make your own...the owner is also very awesome and helpful.

hard to say...they are many many animals that are safe for normal tanks, but have no problem being able to kill a dwarf...remember the babies could fit on a dime no problem, and the adults on a quarter....you have to be careful about crabs, shrimps, etc that you put in as well....and should always treat with Panacur

If they don't eat them their presence causes great stress for both horses and ponies.
This was the 15 gallon i had set up for my ponies before the aiptasia attack.
Is there LR in there? It doesnt look like it... how did the aiptasia get in there?

do a search for panacur at seahorsesource.org and you'll see what it is, its a treatment to take care of pests...
for killing live rock you can either boil it...just leave it out, doesnt really matter as long as the creatures cant live on it.

For your list...you also may want some medications like meth blue, formalin....not granted for dwarves its usually hard to see the disease before its too late...but can never hurt....you also need supplements to soak the baby brine shrimp in as their nutritional value goes to crap after the first hour or two...so its best to soak it in something like naturose, selco...you'll usually soak it in this for about 24hrs...the selco and a couple others are much more greasy heavy so you'd only soak it a few hours...but then you'd also need to rinse the bbs before putting it in a tank to make sure you get all the junk of the bbs before putting in the tank since your water can be very hard to keep in line with all the food you will be putting in now.
