What hitchhiked with my candy cane?

Its the small thing to the left of the candy cane. Its a brown narrow tube with feathery things at the end. At night it shrunk back down. This morning I thought it was gone but now its back out. :notsure:

Kind of looks like a xenia to me.

It looks like a strand of Xenia, or maybe a clove polyp.

Looks like Anthelia to me. If you like the look then definately keep it. They can grow out of control though so keep an eye on the colony size.
