It looks the start of Cyno bacteria, it is actually dark green, almost black. Many threads on this bad boy. The one that comes to mind is snakes method's, just do search of cyno. I gave up on mine used

take a piece of yarn or string and put it around a straw or toothpick and place it in the middle of it. See if the string stays in the current.

How old are your bulbs? Nitrate and phosphates levels? Do you rinse your frozen food B4 you feed? How long do you leave your lights on? Do you have coral in tank? Do you have macro algae? All these are contributors to cyno, except coral in your tank and macro algae helps against cyno.

kill your lights and stop all feeding for a few days.
When that is all killed off then resume with less lighting and less feeding.
then find the amount of both that will allow the fish, corraline, corals, and macro algaes to thrive but not so much the uglies come back.

Have fish? If so, feed them like PIGs the day u leave..they will need the food. Have someone you trust come to your house 1-2 days before u leave and show them the rings of feeding the fish, etc. Have them come while youre gone. Problem solved.

Every thing will survive for 10 days without food. The only concern you should have is equipment failure and top off. Top off can be solved with an automatic top off as for equipment failure you'll need a person for that or chance it.

I'm concerned about gas exchange if you have such a small amount of evaporation. Animals will not thrive if dissolved Carbon dioxide builds up in the water.
