Ok i thought they were just spots of algae at first, didnt really pay that much attention. When lights came on this weekend they were sqwirming around. I guess its some type of worm. IF anyone can help or provide any info, please do. They about the size of a pinhead maybe a little bigger and are redish orage in color...flat on glass. Sorry cant get a good pic. Thanks guys.

after doing some research on here about flat worms, seems like it may be the bad type. There are about 20 - 30 on the glass in my 5 gallon....all very small though. I dont really know how big they get or how much damage they can do. All i have in the tank right now is a piece of rock and one scarlett.

Sounds like the bad ones to me. With a picture I am sure Bang Guy can ID for you. Maybe try a sixline wrasse to eat them before they become a plague!!

Siphon them out or use a Turkey baster. Don't reuse the water though. Convotriloba secrete a toxic substance when stressed and it will be in the water.
They are photosynthetic so use that to your advantage to get them clustered in a single spot (a halogen spotlight is great for this). They don't do any harm.
