What is Palin up to?

She just announced out of the blue that she is resigning as Governor of Alaska on July 26th. She says she's tired of "lame duck" politics, and wants to "affect positive change" outside of government. Experts thinks she's done with politics altogether. Sounds a little fishy to me. She either got her hand caught in the cookie jar, and she's bailing out before the news hits and she's forced out of office, or she wants to just disappear from the limelight for a while and make a big 'comeback' in 2011 in time to run for Prez...

So far every one of the complaints the worthless libs have thrown at here have been thrown out so I don't think that is the issue.
I hope she is just tired of the media smear campaign and just wants out of politics. What I'd really like to see is that she resigned to be in a position to sue the crap out of the people who's complaints filed against her were found to be frivolous. I am all for being able to hold politicians accountable but several of the complaints filed on her were blatant political hack jobs that shouldn't be allowed to happen.

I'm with RU. I don't care what she does as long as she just goes away. If I never hear her name or see her on TV again, it will too soon.

Yeh, I guess a lot of folks will be glad to see her go. An attractive, moral, family oriented, conservative woman makes some people uneasy. She doesn't fit the "mold". If she was a sleazy liberal, everybody would be fawning over her.

I'm far from being a liberal, and I hope she disappears and is never heard from again. she had no business being on the 2008 ticket (and neither did McCain, for that matter). it was an attempt for female voters that anyone with a brain (obviously no one in McCain's camp) could see would not work. she comes off as hateful and none too bright. and as a crook imo. and the only experience she had was the woeful task of governing the richest state in the country which also happens to have almost no people. so even the "no experience" argument against Obama kind of flew out the window when she got put on the ticket.
I got a feeling she's getting ready for a run up to 2012. but if the Repubs have any sense left, they are going to steer clear of this woman. be done with her.....get Romney/Jindal, Romney/Gingrich, or Romney/Huckabee and be done with Obama too. or, they can make Palin the face/voice and the Republican party and gift Obama a second term.

She is going to run for a seat in the House.
Smart move IMO.
She will win what ever seat she runs for and terrify the lefty loons even more.

I'm on the other end of the liberal spectrum myself. Republican and conservative. Nothing the present administration is doing is helping me in the slightest so I pretty well fall into the conservative role.
Palin just came across to me as a fake and not very bright that expected because she was attractive and marched her whole family up on the stage including her pregnant daughter that we were all supposed to go "Oh, how nice." Pretty? Yeah, she was attractive. Moral? My money would be somewhere else.
Just my opinion and the last time I checked, I was still entitled to one.

I love it, some how she is a moron. When he state is probably the only state in the union not running a deficit.
If that is the result of a dummy, I'll vote one into office.

Mickey Mouse could be Governor of Alaska and still run the state without a deficit. It's called Oil, Black Gold, Texas Tea...

So would you vote for her because of her experience and knowledge, or just because she's a woman?

People should really look at some of the things she did in Alaska before assuming they are intellectually or morally superior to her. Was she qualified to be president? Well, lets just say she was way more qualified than the boob we got.
I would really like to see her in Washington but in Congress. We need more people who are willing to look past party loyalty when it comes to slapping down crocked politicians.
I think the best candidates in both parties didn't come close to winning their primaries because the majority of voters in this country are fools. They will swallow a slick advertising campaign without bothering to check the facts or background of the candidate.

Why not? How many millions voted for Obama because he is black? How many voted for Hillary because she was a woma..... Ooops

Ahhh so true.
Look who we have running our country now. The black Alfred E. Numan who ran his campaign the same way he is running the country. He promised change and we got it,only its a bit different than the way he described it on the campaign trail.
Weather you like Palin or not at least she knows this."We The People"are in charge, not the government.President Numan seems to be a bit confused when it comes to this idea.

If you can't support the President we have, leave the country. That's what you keep telling me.

You honestly think she's some perfect politician that's never had any 'under the table' shady deals? Give me a break. She just like every other crooked politician. She wouldn't have any problems getting her palm greased if she got into Washington. If you believe she's some True Blue Mrs. Smith Goes To Washington, I have some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.
