What is the name of your fish? And why did you name it that?

Currently only one fish in the 55g with a name. My tomato clown who is 7 years old is called Salsa. When I bought her, I had also purchased a bleached out anemone who we called SourCream.
Might have had Mexican food that evening?
The photo is Salsa with her friend, Slim Shady. I gave Slim Shady to a friend because he was taking over the tank.

between me and my boyfriend's tanks we have:
2 percs - Bruno and Gunther...we just lost gunther last night tho :-( :-(
a purple firefish my roommate named Cha Cha
a yellow clown goby - Sunny
orange spotted goby - Petey
sixline - Lola and believe me, she's a Lola!!
2 black misbars we called Big and Rich
2 green chromis - Chevelle and Capri (guess who named these??)
Coral Beauty - Bert
Flame Angel - Ernie
2 green emeralds - Rocky and Adrienne
that's as far as we've got in the naming of them...more to come!!

1 kole tang named waldo cause when i first got him we couldn't find him all the time
...... where's waldo .........

and of course a lawnmower blenny ........... murry
same as my riding lawnmower

Funny, that's my Mandarin's name for the same reason.... he blends into the rock so well, we were always trying to find him, so we named him Waldo.
As for the others.....
Cleaner Shrimp- Jaques
Naso Tang (biggest fish in the tank)- Tiny
Purple Firefish (smallest fish in the tank)- Hoss
Coral Beauty- Tony (Macelli from Who's the Boss)- he runs the place
Convict Tangs - Bonnie (now deceased) & Clyde
Cucumber- Larry (Veggie Tales)
Pistol Shrimp- Pete (Maravich)
The others are not named-
2 Percs
2 Blue-Green Chromis
Yellow Watchman Goby
None of the clean-up crew have names......

We used to have a lawnmower blenny named snapper (after the lawn mower brand), and a diamond goby named Kirby (after Kirby vacuum cleaners).
We currently have a blue spotted goby named Fibonacci (I'm a math teacher)
A lot of times tne names end up as the type of fish, like 'tang', 'flounder', 'nemo', etc.

Midas Blenny- bugaloo because he kinda does a dance thing and our first was named boogie...
maroon clown- wally
pearly jawfish- mona (in honor of our first one named Mo--short for mouth)
pair of firefish- beavis and butthead because they aren't very smart
blue throat trigger- kojack because he runs the tank
mappa puffer- cocoa because he's about as big as a cocoa puff....

Serp Star - Sneaky (he keeps changing his hiding place)

Clown Fish - Kopi, though my roomie claims his name is Steven. Hells no if I was gonna call him Nemo!
Coral Beauty - Ipok, couldn't figure out a good name so i just reversed Kopi.
Blue/Green Chromis - Azul 1, 2, 3 and 4. Hard to name fish when they all look the same:)
Coral banded shrimp - Bandy, friend named him.
I don't name any of my fish till I've had them for 4 weeks, after that I figure I'm good. Don't want to get to attached right away!

We call the brain - Blobby Fisher
(cause it's a brain... get it!)

2 False Perc = Nemo 1 and bruce ( my godson named them)
Manderin = Reefer (cause he lives on my reef
)
Haven't named the snail or crabs or the peppermint shrimp
When I talk to other people about my fish I usually say "the boys" are doing well :) yea they think im crazy
