what is this coral?

the lady at my local pet store gave me this coral by accident instead of the $5 frag I asked for. what is it? I can't seem to find anything like it on google...this is my fist post on here so please bare with me if I'm posting this in the wrong thread or whatever. also extremely new into the hobby. thanks

Could be green star polyps. That is what they look like when retracted. What was the coral were you expecting to get.

Xenia Is what I asked for and pointed at, what type of current does this like?

Moderate to strong chaotic current. Moderate to intense lighting.

Makes a pretty green carpet when polyps are extended. Can become a bit invasive, so put it where you want it to be for a long time. Once the mat spreads onto adjacent rocks, it (the mat) can be fairly difficult to remove.
