What is this infection?

Please note: I purchased two of them 2-3 days ago & they are "wild" caught. I made the mistake of dropping them into my tank after 20-30 minutes of temperature acclimation (leaving bag floating) & understand what I did wrong. However, they are like this now? What is it and what do I need to do?

I came home today @ 9ish pm and found the big oscellaris dead. Should I worry about the infection spreading to the smaller one? They are wild and I think they were newly transported. The two oscellaris wasn't even in the lfs's display tanks yet...still in there shipping box.

Ah, newly shipped fish are always a risk, you can't really observe them, watch them eat, etc.
IF it was lymphocytis, it is only contagious to any other fish that may have tried to eat the dead fish. You really should look at the disease forum and try to match up some pictures with what you saw on your fish so you really know what happened.
