What is this stuff?

I have a 24 gal Nano that has been running for about a week and a half. It has 18 pounds of live rock and about 30 pounds of sand. Nothing else in it yet. This brown looking algae seemed to appear over night and I was wondering if anyone can ID it. Sorry for some reason I can't upload the picture

Probably diatoms.....a light silty looking algae...it is normal in a new tank....Do you have any powerheads? once your initial cycle is complete (no ammonia etc) your clean up crew will help take care of it

I only have the main powerhead that came stock. Going to put some others in soon.

The tank is cycling. Its par for course in regards to how long the tank has been up for.
