What is this Weird Tube Thing??

This thing just started to show up one day and now it's a least 2'' tall. I think it's pretty cool looking and want to keep it as long as I know what it is and that it woun't start spreading all over the tank.
I don't even know if it's plant or animal.

looks like sopme sort of macroalgae Maybe
but this gets ya back on the front page for others to see and respond.

It looks like macroalgea to me, don't know exactly.

It's definately a macro algae. It looks very easy to trim so I wouldn't worry about it getting out of control.
