What is this?

What is this on my crushed coral and why is it there. Also how can i fix it, Im going to do a agressive tank its a 55gal it has a damsel and a blue trigger been going for 6 months, water condition is good checked it this morning.

Looks like it's just Diatoms. Did you start your tank with tap water?

Why does it do it and how to get it gone.

It's an algae that's really really good are getting nutrients from the water. Typically the only way to control it is to limit silicates (found in tap water). Most herbivorous snails will eat diatoms.

Can I vacume it up or will it make it worse it looks bad.

It will just cone back after you vacuum.
