Does it have a fan type thing flicking in and out? If so than prob a tunicate

Just curious, what is this fan type thing you speak of here? I have not seen this on a tunicate. Do you have a picture to show us this?
Are you perhaps thinking of a barnacle?

I was asking about this statement.
"Does it have a fan type thing flicking in and out? If so than prob a tunicate"
I am not aware of a tunicate that does this and would like to see a picture and read up on them if you could show me something.

no i was wrong...i thought they were a type of tunicate on my conch shell but i guess they are a barnacle! The only other barnacle ive had has had its filter part out all the time and was a greenish. These are white and flick in and out....
is a tunicate kinda like a sponge than?

Yes more like a sponge than a barnacle. But they are not really the same thing. (sponges and tunicates)
