I started in Sept 05 with a 20 and then made it a 29. The 54 started in July 06 and the 92 in Feb 06. In between I have had some 10s, 20s and a 44 which are all now in the bone yard.
I am a basically about 16 months into the hobby and now in a dilemma. No more room for anything new. No place to put a big tank (360+). I am now reduced to selling frags to make room for minor additions.
I work out of the house so I get to enjot my tanks alot. It all started with one peice of live rock! And for the record, huge newbie mistake, I cycled with about $120 of fish. Not to mention the gonaporia that is no a paper weight. My LFS (old one) assured me I was on the right track with everything I purchased in the tank you see. I am surpised I didn't go home with a lion fish and mantis shrimp too! Never new about this web site back then!

thats nothing When I first got started the lfs I went to (a bunch of crooks whos name I smear every chance I get) *cough blue planet cough* Sold me a pec clown, yellow tang, two damsels a 20g tank, plate coral 20w foresent light and a emperor filter. also a bag of cc and a bubble wand. the damsels died in there bag during the 15 min drive back to the house.

i spent a lot of extra cash fixing things that i got from them as far as set up goes. the most recent: they set up my 210g moved all my fish from my other 2 tanks by hand into the new one,the tank cycled and i lost about twelve fish.

all that survived were my blue hippo,wrasse,and niger. plus i had to replumb the tank.
