what kind of fish can i keep in a 5gal?

couple tangs, maybe a purple and a powder blue, and you could probably get away with an eel or two.
Oh, you mean seriously? I dunno, no more than two small fish, and more safely maybe just one. A clown and a shrimp, or a Yellow watchman goby would probably do OK. Actually, I have an Eclipse 5 gallon "corner" unit that I'd love to convert like this one day.

In a five gallon? One fish. I would go for a watchman or a high finned shrimp goby.

no i only have one tank! 12gal. im asking if i got another one what kind of fish can i get. because im planning to get another one i just havent decided what size, and what kind of fish i can keep.

well dont clown gobies only get to be like an inch? a watchman would be around 4 inches, and thats almost an inch of fish per gallon, so i wasnt sure if he would be able to keep the water consistent.

k instead of making a ton of threads why dont you list all the fish you like and a rank on how much you want them, and also list the biggest tank you would be able to afford and people could help you decide which fish would go good together in a certain size of tank, of course you probably wont be able to get all the fish you want but idk just an idea.
If i were you i would try to get the biggest tank possible (knowing you will be able to afford the upkeep costs.
