The 1st pic is zooanthids. "Button polyp" is a term invented by fish stores to charge more money for zooanthids
Those little white things on the snail shell are indeed a type of harmless worm called Spirobidae. However, be careful with the bumblebee snails. They have been reported by some to be reef unsafe.
thanks for the answers.. the zoo colors are purple with yellow center and green with yellow center.
mudplayerx thanks for the info on the snail. I didn't know they weren't considered reefsafe.. do you know why they are not.. Of course my lfs says, "sure their reef safe"..
It is hard to tell in the pic,but in your first two pics it looks like a majano growing in with your zoo's.If so try to get it out, they spread rather fast.
I've had most of mine (bublebees) for about 4-5 months and didn't think they bothered anything. they are cool looking
I will try and get a better picture of the zoo's to post.
My bumblebees don't bother anything at all. I've had them for nearly a year with various colonies of zoos, shrooms, a couple of leathers, candy cane, and clove polyps.

Don't be hasty...
There are several species of snails being called "Bumblebee Snails".
Most of them are snail predators. One of them is a detrivore.
Feeling lucky?

Thanks all for the input.
TeresaQ, If I ever frag, I will keep you in mind for the purple color with the light center.
Right now, there's only about the six you see in the picture.
Theresa-
If you're interested in those purple/green zoos and would like to do some trading let me know. I have a large colony and could easily frag 10-15 polyps. Email me
