I have an Aqua-C Remora Pro on my 55gal and I love it! It never needs adjusting and it pulls out a healthy amount of crude.

Aqua C pro here too!! I love it. I had a Bak pak on my qt and although it works well, it has that air line that needs to be constantly adjusted. I checked my trates and phosphates just yesterday and both were 0!! Which is an accompliushment since I have CC. But as far as hang ons that's my fav also!

ASM's are great skimmers for the money if you have a sump. Aqua C Remoras are good if you are looking for a HOB.

Yikes!!!!!!
Is that a skimmer or some sort of fission reactor?!!?
I use a EuroReef myself...been a decent investment in my opinion.
I have used a CPR BacPac in the past.....decnt enough for a hang on....it still skims my nephews 58 Oceanic.

I run a CPR BacPac on a 30 FOWLER, a Aqua Remora C on a 60 Reef, and a Aqua Remora C on a 95 FOWLER.
I have to empty the cups daily, which I take as a good thing!

I am running the BERLIN TURBO on both of my tanks. I had a aquatic life systems 150 on my reef originally but after a year of trouble and non-reliable performance I tried the berlin turbo and love it.

Agreed totally. The thing is a machine... low maintenance, very easy to adjust (just once and let it go...), easy to empty, and it's a workhorse. Seriously thinking about getting a second one as I increase the amount of corals and fish.

Yetti,
I just ordered a Euroreef last week. Expensive, maybe overpriced, but my impression is that better safe than sorry with your system's skimmer.

I agree, Expensive, overpriced and god save you if you need to buy replacement parts. They do make a good skimmer, I used one for years, but their customer service is second to all.
