What Should I Do????

I am planning on buyin a pc light fixture fo my tank but there is one problem the part were i put the light is 4 1/2" wide the light i want is 8 1/2" wide do i have to buy a new hood with it?

Yup clear hood would be nice. If you really want you can get a 2 pice glass top so that you can lift a lip to feed your fish. Or no hood. There is nothing wrong with that actually as long as you have plenty support for the light . The supports can be easly made. Your choice but he hood you have is a no go :notsure:
