What size Nano?

Right now I have a 55 gal tank- but I feel it is too big for the apartment we are moving to and I have been neglecting it- not water changes, feedings, etc. But just not adding on to it - coral, more rock, etc.
Stock list:
1 algae blenny
2 engineer gobies
1 PJ cardinal
2 clowns
some snails and hermits
1 kenya tree
some xenia
What size tank should I go down to? I feel like the 55 is just too big right now with the move coming- we are getting a smaller place. I also want to get back into adding onto the tank when I move like more corals and spicing it up - more then I did.
So what I am asking is- what gal size should I go down to and the type of tank? I like the new sleeker looking ones. Plus the bf said if I go down- he would buy me a new one, as my 55 gal is pretty old. I would sell the 55 after I get the new one and use the money to add new things or equipment. Help me out!!!

29 g for the fish you have. 14g is to small. if you can return or give to the lfs the 2 engineer gobies. then the 29g is good

I actually think I only have one goby now :( Can't find the other one but will find out during the move, lol. I would go for the 29 gal, I think the 14 is too small for me right now.
I really like the biocube----ALOT!!!

I just gotta find a 29 gal for the price of a brand new 14 gal- off to research :)

With or w/o stand. I think I want a stand for it..and the bf is horrible at building things, so I would have to buy one. I am looking around and found the 29gal for about $500 w/stand brand new at a store website..but a local site had it slightly used with stand for $200.

Now I have been reading about each one and have heard different reviews- Do some of you re-do the filtration because it gets clogged? That is what I read..I am fine with re-doing it, but would like to know how!

Okay I will admit- I did some digging and already started stalking your diary...

Thanks for the link- as I do really like the nano and might be leaning towards it.
I realized that I don't need the stand as I have a GREAT side table that is heavy beyond heavy- nice area around it so my cats can do their stalking, and hidden storage :)
Now here is the thing- I move the end of September. I can't really afford to buy the nano cube w/o selling my 55 gal now....I have a spare I think 20-30 gal rec tank lying around. Should I transfer my stuff into that tank and start posting my 55gal?? Also - never moved any of my fish before- how should I do it w/o making them stressed?

as long as you put them in a bucket with a lid, the temperature should stay somewhat stable. put only fish in a single bucket, no live rock or corals with them, you could probaly guess why thats a good idea. a fish will only get stressed if the temp drops drastically or it is left to sit there for more than 2-3 hours. GOOD LUCK!!!

oh yeah, craigslist is a great site for used stuff, i found a 29 biocube with stand and fully stocked(beautiful setup) for $299.
