I was woundering what is a good temp to keep my tank at. Nothing is in there so i can change it with no problem at 75 now

Fish Only or reef?
Reef = 78-82
Fish Only =75-80, 75 is bare minmum i would say at least 78.
78 is best temp all around a lil more tropical for reefs!

I keep mine at 79, and it fluctuates from 79 to 81.

I keep it at 81, no problems at all. You should be fine up about 86. Its jsut important to keep it constant.

The tank I am currently setting up is 84 degrees and its going to be a reef, is this temperature okay or should i try to lower it?

IMO reef tank should be kept between 80F & 85F with as little fluctuation as possible.
