what should my water temp be? I am looking to go for a reef tank.

bang guy Moderator Mar 25, 2005 #8 You should do some research on the animals you plan on keeping to determine the typical temperature they would experience in the wild. In my opinion anywhere between 80 - 85F will cover most reef animals comfortably.
